Playbeautifully.com redesign

As you might not know, the most beautiful sport on the planet is soccer (also called football around the world). I can say that I am fortunate to play the beautiful game, and it is something that I always keep me awake whenever there is a soccer tournament going on. With my passion for the game, I want to have a special place where soccer players and fans can gather together to discuss about the excitement of the game.

I started playbeautifully.com in 2006 in hope of creating a network for players and fans to help each other with the game. Some people might think that it is just a simple soccer game, but to those who know the game well, it is a sport that required skills, passion, physical endurance, intellectual, and teamwork to accomplish the ultimate goal of winning. In order to play well, the entire team must play together in 90 minutes. Hard fouls, injuries, and humiliations are parts of the game; however, they are unnecessary actions for the game. Imagine the goalkeeper just saved a shot, then passed the ball to the defenders, then to the midfielder on the wing so that they crossed the ball into the penalty area for a bicycle kick and a goal. It was just beautiful, and what more beautiful was that the rest of the team chased the scorer celebrating that goal. To me, it is a beautiful game, and beautifully is a word that we should always keep in our hearts.

As a web designer back then who started to learn programming languages, I decided to use phpizabi, a very nice community platform, but they were no longer providing supports. I have been making changes to the site. Now, I am going to redesign and develop it to meet the needs of soccer players and fans. I am going to post the process of editing it on this blog, so your suggestions are highly appreciated.
